It Started With a Wedding — Our Own

In 1997, Kris and Misty got married in Jacksonville. Like most couples, they hired a DJ for their reception — and something clicked. Watching the DJ work the room, read the crowd, and turn a gathering of family and friends into a genuine celebration, Kris thought: I could do that. I want to do that.

So he asked. The DJ from their wedding agreed to train him, and Footloose Entertainment was born. What started as one man with a passion for music and a dream of sharing that joy with others has grown over nearly three decades into Jacksonville and St. Augustine’s most trusted event entertainment company.
