It Started With a Wedding — Our Own

In 1997, Kris and Misty got married in Jacksonville. Like most couples, they hired a DJ for their reception — and something clicked. Watching the DJ work the room, read the crowd, and turn a gathering of family and friends into a genuine celebration, Kris thought: I could do that. I want to do that.

So he asked. The DJ from their wedding agreed to train him, and Footloose Entertainment was born. What started as one man with a passion for music and a dream of sharing that joy with others has grown over nearly three decades into Jacksonville and St. Augustine’s most trusted event entertainment company.

Today Footloose offers professional DJ services, 360 video booths, mirror photo booths, special effects, audio guestbooks, and more — but the heart of the company has never changed. Every event we serve gets the same care, energy, and commitment that Kris brought to that very first gig nearly 30 years ago.
