Picture a heavy steel vault door, cold sparklers shooting up on either side of it, and a bride and groom stepping through hand in hand, laughing.

That was the grand entrance at Kaila and Evan's reception at Treasury on the Plaza in St. Augustine. Footloose Entertainment was there as their wedding DJ and MC, and the night built from that first walk straight through to a packed dance floor.

A GRAND ENTRANCE AT TREASURY ON THE PLAZA

Their monogram, "The Siegels," glowed on the wall behind the vault and again on the front of the DJ setup, so the room knew whose night it was the second they came through. When the sparklers faded, Kaila and Evan took the floor for a dance of their own, moving through a low cloud of fog under deep blue light.

TOASTS, SLOW DANCES & SWEET MOMENTS

Not everything was loud. A guest took the microphone at the head table while Kaila and Evan listened with big smiles. Later, Evan slow danced with a young guest in a sage-green dress while the room looked on.

A good wedding DJ and MC knows when to let a moment breathe, then bring the energy right back up when the couple is ready.

WEDDING DJ ENERGY ON THE DANCE FLOOR

When the dancing opened up, it stayed open. Kids threw their arms in the air, guests waved glow sticks overhead, and one guest took the floor in heart-shaped sunglasses. Kaila danced in her full gown, surrounded by friends and family. The night closed with Kaila and Evan walking out of the Treasury's front door through a send-off of raised sparklers.
